“We don’t have to do all of it alone. We were never meant to.” - Brene Brown.  Sometimes life gets hard, and there are times we are unable to verbalize what we are going through. Other times, we just want to avoid and not feel it all— something that we are not meant to do but we all commonly do. I am here to give you permission and know it’s okay to ask for help, to have someone sit in silence with you, to help guide you through hardships in life, to help piece together things that we cannot quite fit on our own without the assistance of another. I want to offer you a safe and supportive space to explore what you are struggling with.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience working in the mental health field. I am also bi-cultural bi-lingual Tagalog. I graduated with my Masters in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I’ve worked with children, adolescents and adults experiencing life transitions, self-esteem, family conflicts, anxiety, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, mood disorders, emotional and behavioral disorders. I have experience working with all ages in a foster care/adoption agency, community day services, youth centers, schools, and the hospital setting. I utilize a variety of interventions, such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness, play therapy, and solution-focused therapy. I believe it’s important to meet an individual where they are & to work collaboratively to overcome the challenges that are preventing you from achieving your goals or living a fulfilled life. As your therapist, I want to establish a positive therapeutic relationship and work with you on your journey to healing.
